Tattoo Artist Phoenix has been drawing since childhood.  Art as subject in school was always her favorite, and special lessons with Ian Waldeck (renowned  conceptual artist) on Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture opened her mind a lot to the world of art. 

She went on to get her Degree in Fine Art after this, Majoring in Drawing, and winning the Best Second Year Drawing award at the African Window.

She traveled to Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong, and on her journey, Taiwanese Tattoo masters noted her exceptional gift in 2001 and she spent time with Taiwanese Tattooists, in the Shi Men Ting Night Market in Taipei, acquiring a machine, and starting on the long road of Tattoo training on pig skin. 

Slowly, she progressed onto people, and returned to South Africa to work in a Tattoo Parlor in Melville, where she honed her skills, and studied the art of Piercing as well.

After completing both tattoo and piercing apprenticeships, she dedicated herself to piercing at her private studio, big music festivals and in the privacy of her clients' homes.

Being gifted with sensitivity to her clients, she discreetly deals with genital piercings as her specialty.
